SFMAMA App

SFMAMA is a prototype for a parent-centric city guidebook app, developed in conjunction with a leading San Francisco parent organization and various content providers, a labor of love for all involved. My contribution to the project includes UX and visual design of the app, as well as photography and content.

SFMAMA concentrates on the details other guidebook apps leave off, but are situations familiar to all parents of young children. "I'm in the Mission, and I need to find a relatively clean bathroom with a changing table, stat," or "What restaurant near me is kid-friendly, so I don't have to eat lunch with a side of nasty looks?"  SFMAMA is chock-full of suggestions, hidden gems, maps (including MUNI-friendly routes), ratings, comments, and unvarnished reviews, so you know what to expect when you're traversing the city with the under-5 set in tow.

Project engagement: 2018.
